Bootcamp

Circuit training alternates strength training exercises with aerobic activities to give you two workouts in one. Bootcamp classes combine intervals of cardio drills and muscle conditioning exercises to provide you with the ultimate circuit workout. This class incorporates drills designed to enhance agility, speed, power, strength, and quickness. Check “lazy” at the door when you step into this workout.

Gentle Yoga

Gentle yoga is a style of yoga that is far less strenuous than other forms of yoga. It is less intense, so it can be very useful for those who are not capable of fulfilling the demands of other practices, such as seniors, women who are pregnant, those who are recovering from injury, those who are in very poor physical condition or even those who are simply looking for a more relaxed workout. Gentle yoga also can be beneficial to those who already are quite fit but who lack the overall flexibility to be able to do some of the more intense yoga poses.

Indoor Cycling

Cycling is an aerobic exercise that takes place on a specially designed stationary bicycle called a spinning bike. As you pedal, motivating music plays and the instructor talks you through a visualization of an outdoor cycling workout: “You’re going up a long hill now, you can’t see the top yet.” During the class you vary your pace — sometimes pedaling as fast as you can, other times cranking up the tension and pedaling slowly from a standing position. This helps you to focus inwardly and work on your mind as well as your body.

Power Vinyasa is appropriate for all fitness levels and is fun! We offer modifications for each pose so that you can adjust for your level of flexibility and fitness.

PowerFlow Yoga

Power Flow Yoga tends to be less structured and allows the instructor to alter sequences and assign poses in response to students’ needs. Power Flow Yoga is a fast-paced class with poses that encourage alignment, flexibility, balance, strength, and cardiovascular endurance.

Yoga

Yoga is a form of exercise that uses slow movements and stretching. It is good for increasing flexibility and balance, relieving stress, and relaxing. Yoga has been used as a meditation technique for thousands of years. As you exercise, you meditate on what your body is feeling and try to be “one with the universe.”
